SEMI SUBMARINE
Bring the whole family and discover what’s beneath this beautiful island without even dipping your toes into the water. The semi submarine excursion allows you to get a closer look at the unique marine life around the island, you might even see some dolphins if you’re lucky. The upper body of the semi submarine remains above the sea surface at all times, while the bottom part is 1.3 metres below, and, through large windows in the underwater hull, you get to enjoy spectacular views of the underwater ecosystem, thus creating the illusion of a real submarine dive. This is the only vessel where you sit below the sea surface and feel like you are diving.

Our daily snorkelling trips aboard a traditional dhoni will take you to different snorkelling spots where you can see some colourful reefs and enjoy swimming alongside turtles, reef sharks, eagle rays, manta rays, and more. Or you can also explore the house reef on a guided snorkelling tour. For a different snorkelling experience, try night snorkelling with fluorescent light and see how the reef glows and becomes a hive of activity during the night. Check with the dive centre for the daily schedule, or you can also arrange a private snorkelling trip at your convenience.

Let us take you on a unique private charter in search of manta rays. Manta rays are found both on coral reefs and in the open ocean. They use the horn-shaped cephalic fins on the sides of their mouths to filter-feed microscopic zooplankton. These mouths give them their unique appearance. Oceanic adults can have a wingspan of up to 7 metres while the more common reef-dwelling species reach up to 5 metres in width. Our crew can sail to manta cleaning stations and feeding areas where, if you’re lucky, you might be able to spot some of these incredible-looking creatures. Manta movements vary according to the season, tides, and other factors.

There will be an extra supplement for the food preparation.
