PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER

If you want to improve your diving skills and explore more dive sites, take the PADI Advanced Open Water course. This course is all about improving your skills further and diving deeper, up to a maximum depth of 30m/100ft. In this course, you have to complete five adventure dives, including the required navigation and deep dive, plus three adventure dives of your choice. Depending on the area of your interest, you can choose from the many dive adventures we offer, such as wreck diving, drift diving, night diving, and many more. You can earn credit toward the Specialty certification for every specialty dive you complete. Once you’ve completed all the exercises, practical tests, and quizzes, you’ll earn your Advanced Open Water certification.

PADI RESCUE DIVER

Become a better dive buddy and build your confidence with the PADI Rescue Diver course. Learn to identify problems or minor issues before they even occur or become a bigger problem. Your instructor will teach you the skills and knowledge you need to handle almost any emergency. Here you will develop important skills such as self-rescue, recognising and managing stress in other divers, rescuing panicked and unresponsive divers, and other emergency management. You’ll practise these different scenarios with your dive instructor to develop your skills as a rescue diver. This course is for those aged 12 or above and must have a PADI Adventure qualification or the equivalent.

Training includes how to apply proper CPR, the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and Basic Life Support (BLS). It will also cover training on preventing and caring for shock, spinal injury management, use of barriers to reduce disease transmission, basic First Aid, and First Aid kit considerations. You will be provided with self-study materials, including videos and quick reference cards, to help you with your training. Towards the end of the course, you will learn all the necessary skills and techniques so that you can provide the best possible care for those in need of first aid medical services while you wait for help. This course is a prerequisite for the Rescue Diver course.
